Few words about Yoga

Yoga is a gift. Literally means to add, to unite or to join, Yoga is an accessible tool we can us in order to grow and enhance our experience of life. Yoga is practiced today for varied different reasons, from reaching a better health condition, finding a better life balance, controlling our emotions and feelings to the level that we want etc.
Yoga is practiced today by all types of people regardless categories and buckets which we created such as race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, etc. Practicing it on a daily basis is a guaranteed formula for bringing a change into our life. People who practice Yoga are experiencing a new flavor in their life, they are able to reach a new dimension that for various reasons was dormant and was not available for them

How to use my videos
In my videos I am helping you to get the first few steps into the world of Yoga. I am starting from the beginning, demonstrating basic Yoga practices such as breathing exercises and relaxation poses. My videos are very easy to follow and they include narrations which I recorded in order to ensure viewers pay attention and focus on the areas of the body which take part in the postures and exercises.
However, while my videos include a demonstration part in which I explain about the exercise/posture, Yoga was (and will always be) an individual path one has to walk through in order to progress. In other words, my videos will be beneficial to you as much as your involvement in the process. The same video can have a different impact on 2 different people,it mainly has to do with the level of involvement and the time and energies they are putting into it. For this reason I decided to include in my videos a ‘’Guided Practice’’ section which helps you to practice the exercises and postures.

To what level of Yoga practitioners (beginners/advanced) do I aim my videos for?
My videos are aimed to help everyone (from the age of 13 and up) and no previous experience is needed in order to benefit from them. My videos can help a complete beginner who never practiced Yoga in his life but could also be beneficial for people who have already practiced Yoga for sometime but feel a need to revise and practice basic Yoga exercises.
Both the complete beginner as well as the most advanced Yoga practitioner can practice the same posture or exercise in a given day. Yet, the impact of the practice would be very different on each one of them. The explanation for it has to do with the quality of our actions. In other words it does not matter what we do, but how we do it.

What is recommended to do ?
• Before you watch my video make sure you are sitting in a quiet place where there is the maximum chance that you will not be disturbed for the duration of the video. Take 10-15 minutes for yourself, you deserve it
• Sit comfortably on a chair, sofa etc and play the video
• Try not to do other things (for example working, talking over the telephone etc) when watching the video. Let you body and mind sink into the rhythm of the video
• Participate actively in the Guided Practice section- Step off the chair/sofa and follow the instructions
• Watch the same video several times (recommended 3 times minimum), then start practicing the exercises demonstrated in it on a daily basis. A daily practice will help you to pay a colder attention to things you night never noticed before, thus will allow you to grow
• Move on to my next video when you feel that you understand the steps/exercises demonstrated in the video and after you physically practiced it for several times yourself
• Go back to the same video and watch it again for your daily practices or at any time you feel the need
