TRANSLATION – “Baba ji says that the critical Yog Practices like Kapalbhati, Shirshasana, Bahya Pranayam etc can only be done while empty stomach. These exercises should never be done after taking food. But easy breathing exercises like Anulom vilom, Bhastrika etc can be done 1 or 2 hours after taking food. Other than this easier exercises that involve simple hand movement or neck movement can be done 1 to 2 hours after taking food.”

So, These are few precautions and exceptions, although it is much better to do any kind of exercise in the morning, empty stomach.
